Logistics
- Schedule the entertainment to arrive about 30 minutes to an hour after the event start time so guests can arrive and settle in; singing happy birthday and cutting the cake make a great send-off moment - Performers arrive in full costume with a portable speaker, microphone, and all the materials they need, and call you on arrival to arrange where and how to enter; they may need parking directions - When you are ready, the performer starts the music, greets the guests, and (for birthdays) conducts a brief coronation ceremony; activities adapt to each character (heroes do superhero training instead of singing and dancing) and base pricing assumes one performer - An open area big enough for the guests to move freely with the performer, and ideally to open and shake a midsize play parachute, is needed; high-energy characters (such as the K-Pop trio) and larger mascot characters may need extra room - Crafts can be provided for up to 25 kids with one performer, or up to 35 with two; glitter tattoos and nail painting take about 2-3 minutes per child (male superheroes cannot do glitter tattoos) - If you expect more than 20 children, adding a second character or a party assistant is recommended - On-site parking availability is required for all bookings - Before leaving, the performer checks that the remaining balance has been paid (cash, secure electronic payment directly to the performer, or paid in full ahead of time)
Rules
- The reservation is not secured until the initial deposit is paid; at least 24 hours' notice is required (one week is ideal)
