Salsa With Silvia 4 Kids is a family-owned dance studio founded by Silvia Alexiev, whose kids program launched in 2016. From studios in Washington, DC and downtown Bethesda, it teaches children ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, modern, Latin dance and Mommy and Me classes, plus bilingual dance-focused summer camps, with an emphasis on fun, discipline and confidence.

Baby Ballet at Salsa with Silvia is a joyful introduction to dance designed for our youngest dancers. They explore creative movement, imaginative play, music, and basic ballet steps in a safe, supportive environment. Toddlers learn through twirling, skipping, leaping, stretching, and simple poses while developing coordination, balance, rhythm, body awareness, confidence, and early social skills through fun props, songs, stories, and games. Caregivers are asked to join in for extra bonding and comfort. Recommended attire: Ballet leotard, tights and ballet shoes for girls and stretchy pants, t-shirt and ballet slippers for boys.
