Logistics
- Most hosts schedule James about half an hour after the party starts so guests can arrive and settle in; he typically arrives up to 15 minutes early to set up - At private parties James averages about 13 balloons in an hour, 20 in 90 minutes, and 30 in two hours - James likes to set up with his back to a wall (a corner is ideal) and to be visible to as many guests as possible; a flat, stable surface 3-4 feet tall gives him more space - Shade is needed when performing outside in the hotter months - Let James know when booking if parking will be difficult - Extending his time at the event is usually not possible because weekends are packed, but it may be possible if his schedule allows
Rules
- Balloons cannot be made for children under 3 years old (choking hazard, no exceptions) or for any child seen putting things in their mouth like a baby would - No balloon guns - James must be hired for enough time for every child of appropriate age to get a balloon

Travel Fee

If the event is further than 50 miles round trip from James's home in College Park, MD, there is a travel fee of $.75 per mile for each mile over 50 (minimum of $10). A 90-minute minimum also applies if the event needs a travel fee.
