Established in 1979, Bethesda Soccer Club (BSC) is a Montgomery County, Maryland travel and development club whose stated purpose is "Developing Professional and Collegiate Soccer Players." BSC runs a full competitive pathway for boys and girls -- from Tots and Juniors recreational programs through Youth Development Program (YDP) teams up to elite travel levels (MLS Next and NAL for boys, ECNL and ECNL Regional League for girls, plus EDP for both) -- alongside camps, specialized skills clinics, and an indoor Performance Center used for training, leagues, and rentals. BSC is known for its alumni who have gone on to professional and NCAA Division I soccer, its dedicated college-recruiting support, and for offering need-based scholarships -- one of the few travel clubs nationwide to do so.

About

A fun, high-energy soccer clinic designed for boys and girls ages 7-12, focused on developing confident, creative players through a combination of technical training and competitive games. Skills covered include creative dribbling with improved ball control and confidence, shooting and volleying technique development, one-versus-one attacking and defensive strategies, small-sided games emphasizing decision-making and teamwork, and competitive soccer activities designed to maintain engagement. Runs as 5-6 week Saturday morning sessions (9:00-10:30 AM) at the Bethesda Performance Center, limited to 50 field players per session, led by BSC coach Ben Morey.
