Eric Energy is a Maryland science entertainer offering live, interactive, hands-on science shows for kids' birthday parties, schools, and special events in the Baltimore, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania areas. With more than 16 years of classroom, camp, and stage experience, Eric and his team of 'wacky' scientists bring experiments on air, matter, sound, electricity, and more to young audiences. Parties can add take-home slime, polymer balls, or yo-yos.
About
A live, interactive science show for a child's birthday party, presented by Eric Energy or one of his 'wacky' scientists. Everyone gets a front-row seat to close-ups of the experiments, with lots of audience participation and help from Eric Energy's assistants. Each show blends entertainment and education for kids and the adults in the room, is customized to the length and theme of the party, and is chosen from six show types when booking: Science Spectacular, Spark Attack, The Slime Show, Yo-Yo Mania, Theme Shows, and Holiday Shows.
Theme: Choice of Show
Science Spectacular A weather-focused science show with vortex fog rings, bubbling potions, and clouds on the ground, exploring air and matter for all ages, indoors or outdoors. Spark Attack A show exploring electricity, sound, and light with indoor lightning, a voice changer, and a real laser light show; requires a darkened indoor area. The Slime Show An interactive show on atoms, molecules, and polymers where guests touch the mixtures, make their own take-home cup of slime, and can get a polymer ball that grows to 300% its size in water; indoors or outdoors. Yo-Yo Mania A show on the history and science of the yo-yo featuring trick demonstrations, a human yo-yo, and hands-on yo-yo instruction for guests; indoors or outdoors. Theme Shows A customized science show built around a party theme such as Space, Frozen, Princess, Cars, or Star Wars, featuring vortex fog rings, bubbling potions, and clouds on the ground; indoors or outdoors, all ages. Holiday Shows Holiday-themed science shows customized for any occasion, including a Halloween Science Spectacular, Winter Science Spectacular, Chanukah Spark Attack, Purim Science Spectacular, and Earth Day Science Spectacular.

Logistics
- A rectangular table, enough floor space for the children to sit comfortably, and access to an outlet are needed - Indoor venues are preferred, but outdoor setups can be accommodated (Spark Attack must be in a darkened indoor area) - Yomega yo-yos must be ordered at least two weeks in advance
