Since 1971, MYB has been successfully preparing young dancers for a career in the performing arts as well as providing classes to dancers of all ages and levels, and by presenting professional quality, yet accessible, award-winning ballet performances, for the entire region.

About
Early Dance classes use movement, music, and storytelling to develop body awareness, discover creative expression, and explore the basic principals of dance. Early Dance classes meet once per week for 45 minutes and are offered during the school year in 8-week sessions.
Required equipment
Female-identifying students: Solid color light pink leotard with no attached skirt (MYB recommends SoDanca Cap Sleeve Leotard #SL13 in light pink); Capezio tights #1915X or #1915C in ballet pink or flesh tone; Pink or flesh tone ballet shoes (tights and shoes must match). Male-identifying students: White T-shirt; Black tights/leggings; White socks; White ballet shoes
