My Gym is a global children's fitness and enrichment franchise founded in 1983 by fitness enthusiasts Yacov Sherman, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin, who set out to build a gym designed just for kids rather than a scaled-down adult gym. Its non-competitive curriculum blends dance, gymnastics, and athletics for ages 6 weeks to 14 years, built around four developmental pillars: cognitive growth, physical development, emotional IQ, and social skills. Now with 600+ locations in 16 countries and over 3.8 million families served worldwide, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program globally and is especially known for its birthday parties (1.3M+ hosted) and family-friendly, no-contract enrollment policies. This Potomac location, at Cabin John Village, brings that same curriculum and party program to the local community.

About

Exclusive use of the entire My Gym facility for up to 15 children — a 1.5-hour private party (2-hour option available for an extra fee) with action-packed activities, games, rides, and puppets. Includes a juice box or water bottle and paper goods for each child, a My Gym t-shirt for the birthday child, full set-up/refreshment service/clean-up, and one free class pass for the birthday child and guests.

Logistics

Up to 15 children, 90 minutes. We will call you the Monday before your party to go over details including final RSVP number, music and game requests, and a few other questions. When we call to confirm details, you will have an opportunity to order pizza and juice pouches; you may also add party favors. We ask that the host arrives no more than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled party. You are welcome to drop any pre-purchased decor, paper goods, etc. off ahead of time for us to set up prior to your arrival — please contact us to arrange a drop-off time. Rules: No additional charge for parents or caregivers. You are welcome to use your own decorations or paper products; we do not allow ceiling decorations, streamers, silly string, or confetti (choke hazard) and setup time between parties is limited. If you bring your own paper products, please provide enough plates, napkins, and forks for your guests — paper products are not included in the Grand package, and there is an additional fee to use ours (other packages allow bringing your own without credits/substitutions). We provide lobby balloons for decoration; you are welcome to bring your own. You may bring your own cake, cupcakes, cookies, prepackaged dry snacks, or sandwiches — no peanut/nut products, please. All pizza must be ordered through us. Juice boxes/water bottles are included in the Deluxe, Premier, and Platinum packages; you may also provide drinks. Food and beverages are not permitted on the gym floor, and no alcoholic beverages are allowed. All children must have a signed waiver. The party host must stay; parents of children 3 and under must accompany them on the gym floor. My Gym gripper socks are provided for children; adults wear their own socks or purchase for $1/pair.
