All Fired Up is an independent, woman-owned paint-your-own-pottery and art studio in Washington, DC, open since 2004. It offers pottery painting, mosaics, fused glass, acrylic painting and monthly events, plus summer camps and birthday parties.

About

All Fired Up's Kids' Birthday Party is a 90-minute pottery painting party where kids spend about 45 minutes painting ceramic pieces with guidance from an instructor, followed by time to celebrate together in the studio. Held during normal studio hours, these facilitated drop-off parties are designed for kids ages 6 and up, and accommodate 10-16 children plus two adults. Families may bring their own food, beverages, and cake.

Logistics

- Hosts may arrive 15 minutes before the start time to set up. - Instructors wait 10-15 minutes after the start time for everyone to arrive; kids typically paint for 45 minutes to an hour and the last 20-30 minutes is for food, cake and drinks. - Pieces take 7-10 days to glaze and fire and are held for 30 days; all party pieces must be picked up together. - A link to pay the reservation fee is sent after the day and time are confirmed.

Rules

- Minimum of 10 kids. - The party is drop-off only for parents of attendees. - You may bring in your own food and beverages or have catering delivered. - The reservation fee is not a deposit and does not go toward the cost of the pottery. - Suggested age is 6+. 5-year-olds can be accommodated, but only in the morning studio rental time slot so parents can join.
