Expert instructors teach our trademarked KIDS FIRST/Kick FIRST curriculum, with programs for every child's needs from infant through teen. We also offer birthday pool parties and other programs.
About
Level 5: Rotary Breathing Rhythmic breathing is developed into rotary breathing allowing the swimmer to breath without breaking stroke. We also teach basic lifesaving skills in this level. To advance to the next level, swimmers must be able to swim front crawl 10 yards with touch and go arms and a strong 6 beat kick at the surface of the water. Other skills learned in this level are the standing dive and turning over while swimming.
Required equipment
Bring a swimsuit, towel, goggles (if preferred), a swim cap for longer hair, and a change of clothes. Some schools may require specific items, like swim diapers for toddlers.
Prerequisites
Swimmer must maintain proper body position (feet and arms) at the surface of the pool while still maintaining a strong 6 beat kick.
