Once Upon a Time Parties D.C. is a Latina- and woman-owned, family-run character entertainment company based in South Riding, VA, serving Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Musically trained performers in detailed, park-accurate costumes bring fairytale characters based on stories in the public domain (no licensed characters) to birthday parties, tea parties, and ice-skating parties, with signature touches such as a Royal Birthday Coronation Ceremony with a keepsake tiara, themed crafts, live singing, and interactive storytelling.

A 90-minute immersive party themed around Peter Pan, featuring Peter Pan plus your choice of fairy. Party includes pixie dusting, themed Neverland and pirate games, a themed fairy talent craft, "Happy Birthday" sing-a-long, and a Royal Birthday Coronation Ceremony.

Logistics
- Schedule the characters to arrive around 30-45 minutes after the party begins so all children and guests can arrive and get settled - 5-10 minutes before the character is scheduled to arrive, a character attendant texts you to confirm you are ready for the arrival; no time adjustments can be made at that point - Provide a large area where the performer and guests can move around, play, and dance; the themed craft usually needs a table and seating for the children (activities are adjusted to the space you provide) - An uncostumed character attendant assists the character, helps set up activities, and communicates with you and the guests
Rules
- Only original characters based on fairytales in the public domain are offered; there are no licensed or copyrighted characters, and bookings are accepted only from clients who understand this - Full payment is required before the characters attend the event; deposits are not accepted
