My Gym is a global children's fitness and enrichment franchise founded in 1983 by fitness enthusiasts Yacov Sherman, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin, who set out to build a gym designed just for kids rather than a scaled-down adult gym. Its non-competitive curriculum blends dance, gymnastics, and athletics for ages 6 weeks to 14 years, built around four developmental pillars: cognitive growth, physical development, emotional IQ, and social skills. Now with 600+ locations in 16 countries and over 3.8 million families served worldwide, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program globally and is especially known for its birthday parties (1.3M+ hosted) and family-friendly, no-contract enrollment policies. This Potomac location, at Cabin John Village, brings that same curriculum and party program to the local community.
About
My Gym Ninja Training classes are designed to be fun and challenging while remaining safe and noncompetitive. Kids are challenged mentally and physically, while developing a mindset of overcoming adversity, both inside and outside of the gym! You'll see your child's strength, stamina, and agility grow through relays, conditioning exercises, and, of course, obstacle courses that change every week. High energy games and team-building activities teach cooperation, patience, and problem solving. Most importantly, our curriculum is designed to ensure all children succeed!
