Semi-private lessons at the Beginner 1 level. Goal: Swimmers can comfortably blow bubbles with their face in the water in the horizontal "swimming" position with productive kicks with light support from the instructor. Skills learned: breath control (mouth bubbles, fully submerged), supported front and back floats and kicks, water safety focus on breath hold and wall walks.
Required equipment
a swimsuit, towel, goggles, and a swim cap or hair tie (for swimmers with long hair). Swimmers who are not potty-trained must wear a reusable swim diaper.
