About
Shark 1 is an advanced swim lesson level for swimmers ages 3 and older who have developed strong stroke fundamentals and solid body positioning. Building on this foundation, lessons focus on refining technique, improving breathing control, and increasing stamina and strength across all four strokes—freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Distance swimming is introduced, along with advanced skills like flip turns and streamline positioning. Swimmers are challenged to become more independent and goal-oriented, with a focus on personal growth, consistency, and readiness for higher-level swimming. 5 Goals of Shark 1: 1. Backstroke 25 yards 2. Freestyle 25 yards 3. Breaststroke 25 yards 4. Butterfly 25 yards 5. Freestyle flip turn
