My Gym is a global children's fitness and enrichment franchise founded in 1983 by fitness enthusiasts Yacov Sherman, Susi Sherman, and Bill Caplin, who set out to build a gym designed just for kids rather than a scaled-down adult gym. Its non-competitive curriculum blends dance, gymnastics, and athletics for ages 6 weeks to 14 years, built around four developmental pillars: cognitive growth, physical development, emotional IQ, and social skills. Now with 600+ locations in 16 countries and over 3.8 million families served worldwide, My Gym is consistently ranked the #1 children's program globally and is especially known for its birthday parties (1.3M+ hosted) and family-friendly, no-contract enrollment policies. This Bethesda Chevy Chase location, at The Shops at Wisconsin Place, brings that same curriculum and party program to the local community.
About
We LOVE our Waddlers! This program is so much fun for both parent and child as we work on beginning stretches and exercises, songs and dances, and balance and agility skills. Your little ones will have a blast discovering their natural abilities while our curriculum enhances their physical and cognitive growth. Throughout this program, we gently introduce new and stimulating activities to promote babies’ and young toddlers’ natural development. You’ll see your little ones become stronger with increased hand, arm, and trunk control, which leads to some of their biggest milestones like crawling, walking, and, eventually, running! We take great care to nurture each parent/child unit according to their specific needs.
