Headfirst Summer Camps has run summer camps for 30 years across DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia, for ages 3-14. Programs include Day Camp and Jr. Day Camp with weekly themes and special events, Innovators, Inc., Sprouting Scientists, multi-sport camps and sport-club partner camps with D.C. United and the Washington Nationals.
Our take
A well-run, sports-focused camp with daily swim, multiple locations, and enthusiastic counselors for active kids
Parents like that...
- daily swim and multi-sport options keep kids active and engaged - friendly, energetic counselors create a fun, welcoming environment for all campers
Keep in mind that...
- all-outdoor days can be challenging during extreme heat - traffic at drop-off, especially at St. Albans, may require extra time
