Summer@Potomac is The Potomac School’s summer camp for campers ages 5 to 15, with a wide variety of weekly and session camps from Robotics, Debate and Nature Science to Service Learning, Tinkering and athletics. Camps are led by experienced Head Counselors, many of them teachers. Complimentary bus service from more than 40 stops across the DMV area and before- and after-camp care are available.
Our take
A consistently popular camp with diverse programs and a spacious campus, just watch out for hit-or-miss speciality camps
Parents like that...
- the expansive grounds and range of activities keep kids entertained and engaged - flexible options include both multi-week day camps and shorter, specialized camps - main day camp offers a reliable, well-rounded experience year after year
Keep in mind that...
- some specialty camps, like soccer, have disappointed with poor organization and too much screen time - bus service can be unreliable, so don’t count on a perfect pickup schedule
