Meadowlark Music offers joy-based music classes for babies and toddlers in the Washington, DC area, built on a research-based curriculum and original Meadowlark CDs and taught by performing musicians. Meadowlark also brings its music to children's birthday parties: a performer comes to you with scarves, a parachute, drums, instruments, puppets, and bubbles and leads a 45-minute party of familiar songs and favorite class activities.
About
Meadowlark music classes lead babies, toddlers, and their caregivers through a mix of classic favorites and original baby-tested ideas, using sound pedagogical approaches and fun-loving creativity. Music is especially valuable as babies and toddlers learn language, rhythm, patterns, steady beat, musical form, and positive social interaction, and the class is also a friend-making environment for the attending caregivers and babies.
