For over 40 years, Mad Science has offered hands-on discovery and exploration of scientific principles. Children ages 5-12 can touch, see, hear, and smell what science is really all about at after school programs, summer camps, and birthday parties.

Our take

A mix of hands-on science fun and basic childcare—great for parties, hit-or-miss for camps.

Parents like that...

- birthday parties are engaging, with cool experiments like fog, explosions, and even cotton candy-making
- scientists can be charismatic, making parties interactive and fun
- camps feel more like babysitting, with staff quality and activities varying widely

Keep in mind that...

- it’s best for ages 4+, and parties may work better indoors
